“ Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant - this place was absolutely phenomenal! A friend of ours visited and recommended this place to us. I was hungry and needed some delicious lunch to help curb the hunger. Let me say that ‘Sangeetha’ did not disappoint at all. Now for my favorite part of the experience. The South Indian Thali, let me say was delicious. Loved it the first time. Ahhh can't wait to go back and try it again. The portion sizes are humongous. Finally after all that it was very affordable. ”

“ Desi mana - Sangeetha , The Banana Leaf Feast of Unlimited South Indian Meals . The food was so delicious and it’s a great experience to taste the authentic South Indian meals. The ambience is amazing. Staffs are so nice, fast and friendly. Must try for the South Indian food lovers, you will love the feast, My favourite items are vada, payasam. Do not drink the payasam from the bowl, pout it to the leaf and add crushed appalam. You will love the taste and definitely go for one or two more bowl of payasam. All items are unlimited, so enjoy the feast. ”

“ Authentic south indian food. Amazing & prompt service. Ambience could have been better to match the traditional theme. While all the food items were delicious, many people have just one small suggestion to add roti/poori to the banana leaf meal, as most people don't prefer eating only rice. They have shown it on the menu card/flyer but not included in actually thaali. ”

“ We went to Desi Mane for the first time and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is really clean and service is quick. We got the Cauliflower 65, Masala Dosa and Rava Masala Dosa. Dosas were great but we found the portion for the Cauliflower 65 a bit small for 6.99. We also ordered Madras Coffee which was nice but not super hot. All in all a great dosa place in Scarborough and will definitely be back - thanks to our server Vignesh for the excellent service! ”

“ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Desi Mane Sangeeta Scarborough and it was an amazing experience. We ordered a quick lunch and thali, and the taste was exactly how it would taste back home in Chennai. The flavors were authentic and delicious. The dishes were also generously packed, making it great value for money. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this South Indian restaurant, it's an absolute must-try! Five stars all the way! July 2023 Update: We came in for tiffin this time and ordered sambar idli. The restaurant seemed understaffed compared to the crowd coming on a weekday as only two girls were running around from table service to bill counter. The sambar idly came in quick but with a raw center. We complained to the girl staff and all we got was a sorry. No questions about refund or replacement dish. I used to like the restaurant for its authentic South Indian taste but when they have the audacity to serve raw idly with no replacement or refund, I am taking down my rating to 2 stars. I can bare with the Service being painfully long but if they keep degrading the quality, am not coming back here. ”

“ Love the snack menu and taste here. Also tried their special banana leaf lunch, usually available on weekends and public holidays only. The special lunch has unlimited servings to feed on your tastebuds and if you are big on food. The food tasted homely and usually on the mild spicy side. You will drink the Rasam and enjoy every gulp of it. Great food, simple unpretentious ambience. ”

“ Been long since I had Tamil style veg meal. Desi Mane is easily one of the best places in GTA. And am I glad that I drove all the way to this gem of a place to enjoy Saturday lunch. The taste is very authentic, right from the Kara Kozhumbu to Sambar. And the kids working there are really taking good care of the customers. Just make sure you have the reservations. Else it is tough to get a table. ”
